Utter Brexit shambles as MPs fail to agree on a way forward out of EU – Commons in chaos

AN ATTEMPT by backbench MPs to seize control of Brexit descended into farce last night when the Commons failed to back any plans. A call for a second EU referendum, tabled by Labour MP Dame Margaret Beckett, was rejected by 295 votes to 268.
